These three siblings have been studying in SEA for the past 5 years. Their father lost his job 14 years back after serving in the military. With his job he also lost all the incentives, he was entitled to. Since then, the whole family is living in extremely vulnerable conditions. Five years back all the three siblings were dropped out of school. Upon hearing this, we immediately reached their father and enrolled all of them in SEA. The two brothers are enrolled with us while Sawaira, their sister, has completed her education with Sabawoon. We are committed to get her admitted in college and shall pay for her tuition fee in addition to the external cost.

Their father is known for his nobility in the area. He after losing his job started to find his livelihood means by selling different food items traveling for 80 km on a bicycle each day. Sabawoon, through a fundraising campaign, helped him get an auto rickshaw to sell his items. This has brought him some relief but still, it is not possible for him to cover the external education expenses of his three children.

These two sisters lost their father when the elder sister was just 14 months. The younger sister was born 3 months after her father’s death. Their father drowned in a river and authorities never found his body. We were told by a person in their community that both these innocent girls watch kids each day in their neighborhood going to school. Their mother got married again so that she and her daughters are safe and secure. When we came to know about this story four months ago, we immediately reached out to her mother and enrolled them in SEA.
